Forget putting a car in the garage - convert it to a games room! Replace the old garage doors with bifolding glass doors with integral blinds … well you can still park the car in when necessary if you ensure that the low threshhold version is installed, as the folding-sliding doors open all the way to the sides.

man these doors can be so expensive. tha best price i’ve seen for a double door was about 1 grand. i have to wait on it…$$$

Is is possible to still be able to open these doors in a powercut? I mean, is there still a manual way of opening them like before?

Wow, in the states a new garage door can cost $3000 or more! Its insane, one of the reasons according to the different installers out there is the amount of money they have to spend on workerman compensation pay.

Agree with you on the idea of installing a manual over ride and it’s definitly all about security. Dont spend 1.5k on a garage door install and not buy security locking devices.
