DIY Sparks Sex War

An online poll asking who is better at DIY – men or women – has erupted into a fierce battle between the sexes. The poll is featured on the home improvement and DIY website www.lets-do-diy.com. And the huge response it has generated seems to indicate that the most explosive area for gender conflict has shifted from the traditional battleground of driving ability to DIY.

 

The website’s editor, John Burry, says: “We thought asking if men or women were better at DIY would provide lets-do-diy.com with a little light relief, but both sexes appear to have very strong views on the subject.” Continue reading →

Sun Awning fabrics come in many different qualities. Really this is a major defining fact between a cheap Sun Awning and a high quality sun awning.

Higher quality Sun Awnings generally use either an acrylic fabric or a polyester fabric. Both should have the necessary coatings to repel dirt and prevent any mildew of rot from forming.

Polyester Sun Awning fabrics is really the newest type of fabric to his the Sun Awning market. Polyesters is much thinner and more durable than the standard acrylic  Awning fabrics. Glass Verandas have been around for several years though it is only now, with fresh designs that they are being utlised as a home improvement product.

Certainly here in the UK a Glass Veranda is an excellent product for those who love to enjoy their garden, even in the inconsistent British weather.
